Change

They said that this day was to uplift our culture but somewhere in there, there is rage

Like a slap on the risk, or a pat on the head, modernizing the modern days of slaves

Change

Happened when the slavery was abolished for “blacks” in 1865

Change

The 13th Amendment, it enslaved us all

Change

We the melanated were not of lows yet we were and we are of a higher being

Change

When the various collective communities thought this was a reward or a win, but their still laughing as the war has yet to end

Change

They said, but fear I not

Change

Is that this day is not mine

Change

To overstand all is not what it seems

Change

Where we gain the true overstanding that it is a deeper battle that they distract us to believe

Change

The lenses that we see through that they view us as cattle from 9 digits at birth, knowing no better our mother’s INFORM(mant) them of our arrival from the ship (the Vessel), that’s when it changed

Change

Is questioning, asking the whys and reading up on the hows

Change

To not invoke fear or strain on the heart, but to believe is to question all doubt

Change

Has become stepping away from the “culture” and not being a part of THEIR CHANGE
