Clarissa (Koop) Stops At Pretty Places
Clarissa (Koop) Stops At Pretty Places is my maiden name. I am a proud mother of five beautiful Indigenous girls. I am an entrepreneur and started my own cleaning business six years ago, and most recently started college courses again! I am from the The Crow Tribe (Apsaalooke) and my husband’s tribe is Chippewa Cree; my girls are enrolled in both Tribes. I was blessed to be involved with National Crittenton’s IMPACT steering committee. Through that was offered the opportunity to join an I Am Why workshop and later offered a position to become a consultant with I Am Why! I really believe in and appreciate all the work and information I gain through my part here. I believe real change is happening, and I know I Am Why is going to be well known for its current and future work in changing so much for anyone diverse!
